An opening crescendo and falling words from my brain-scape

I guess a blog has to start somewhere, so here is one of my silly face with my cat Ochie - long story for another blog.  For this one, I am just wanting to post something that is sort of about what I do, how I think and has nothing (or very little) to do with my other stuff on All The Time I Was Listening To My Own Wall of Sound (link here) or the radio show Attention Please which I run on NE1FM.  Not the most popular of things, but stuff I like doing.  However, there is more to me than music (although sometimes I truly doubt that if I am honest).  Sometimes I have views that are political, stories about what I have done, films I have enjoyed and books I have read which I would like to write and talk about.  I have never been that good at keeping a diary or anything like that and I only got into blog just so my Facebook posts were less about reviews; but now I want to write something different and I am not willing to alter ATTIWLTMOWOS on its mission to change the world musically and it would be unfair to the other contributors.

So what will this be about?  Well, to be honest it will be about anything I want it to be about.  If I have had a bad day, I might write about it; if I have seen some art which has moved me, I may write about that; if I have had a good pizza, you may see food photos and wince at my level of boredom and silliness.   I might see a silly photo about Michael Stipes of REM and create a macabre world where he comes into your bedroom and night to sing you to sleep, but because he has been on the coffee and sherry for too long it becomes a surreal nightmare where he is screaming Toto's Africa into your scared and opened eyes; it could be about the time Scroobius Pip liked a post I had made on his Facebook page - I am not going to limit the page at all.

A little about me - I am older than I act, I have an unhealthy Zappa obsession, I am married and the cat is bonkers.  I have other family around the globe, I really should lose some weight, I call all spiders George, I need to stop drinking as much coffee and all is good in the world tonight.

I guess this one is just to start the ball rolling, I am writing this on a borrowed laptop whilst mine is being repaired and I cannot create a review post on my other blog.  It has been a little stressful that I cannot do what I want for that blog, I have a few posts ready and to be posted once I have the ability to get everything correct and I cannot do that on this laptop as I do not want to change my lady's settings.  But it is also motivation to do something else, something that is similar to what I do in other ways, but with a difference as well.

Mainly I guess I was pushed in my head when I have been listening to Scroobius Pip and his Distraction Pieces Podcasts; he is doing something different to what brought him to the dance and he is doing some good stuff with his podcast, his spoken word stuff, his label and it was inspiring to hear him when he chats with other people, he has passions and with everything he is doing.  So I guess what I am wanting to do in my own dyslexic way is that I wanted to write in a different way, to express myself in a form that is not just saying how much a song moves me or how much I cannot stand a record.  Just word speak from my brain-scape I guess.

With all of that being said, I will end this one till I have something to say and add a list of what I am currently into and I hope your Deity follows you till we next met - Eddie
